This week’s focus of my blog project about Robinhood is their newsletter they established for easily digested financial news. Robinhood Snacks was established in 2012 and much like the financial application, Robinhood snacks has only grown since then. The creators of Robinhood Snacks, Jack Kramer and Nick Martell have established their newsletter in hopes of being a waystation for the everyday investor to get investment news both in terms of acquiring knowledge and understanding the knowledge acquired.
In this example of the Robinhood Snacks Podcast Jack Kramer and Nick Martell are discussing the separation of FIFA, an yearly soccer video game based on European leagues from the video game giants Electronic Arts. Electronic Arts seems to have many other business deals in the works but FIFA’s fanbase is gigantic so even with all these business opportunities coming EA’s way it isn’t a question of if they will feel the sting of FIFA’s departure but when and how severely.
